Children and young people with ADHD:
- find it difficult to remain seated when required
- fidgeting
- lose focus easily
- move from one task to another frequently
- act impulsively
Similar behaviours may be seen in children and young people with problems such as speech and language difficulties and learning difficulties, sensory needs, emotional wellbeing difficulties and these are considered during assessment.
